| The UAF Brass area offers degrees in music that emphasize brass instruments. We offer the Bachelor of Arts in Music, the Bachelor o Music in Performance, The Bachelor of Music in Music Education and the Master of Arts in Music all with an emphasis on your instrument. In addition to our degree programs, the brass studios at UAF offer unique performance opportunities for all brass players. Our ensembles include: Brass Choir (Mondays 6-7 PM) MUS 307 Brass Ensemble Brass Quintet (Arranged) MUS 307 Brass Quintet Trumpet Ensemble (Arranged) MUS 307 trumpet Ensemble Horn Choir (Arranged) MUS 307 Horn Choir Trombone Choir (Arranged) MUS 307 Trombone Choir Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble (Arranged) MUS 307 Low Brass Ensemble UAF Trombone Quartet (Arranged) MUS 307 Trombone Quartet Selected advanced students are periodically given opportunities to perform, tour and record with the Borealis Brass. This is by audition or recommendation of the teachers only and is based on the literature Borealis Brass is performing at the time.
