Yamaha Artist Jane Aspnes has performed as a soloist in China, Spain and across the United States. She was a member of the Orchestre symphonique de Québec , the National Ballet Orchestra, and many other ensembles throughout the eastern United States. She came to Alaska and managed the Fairbanks Symphony Orchestra and the Arctic Chamber Orchestra and teaches horn at UAF. Her students have won the Yamaha Young Artist competition as well as many other prestigious competitions and have gone on to professional careers in music.
